Dire Dawa Cycling Championship Concludes Initial Phase(November 16, 2025 | Tahsas 7, 2018 E.C.)

The Dire Dawa Clubs Champion Cycling Competition, organized by the Youth and Sports Commission and Free Natural Spring Water, finished its opening stage on November 16, 2025. The event, which spanned three weeks, finished its initial round of races for all divisions, from youth to senior levels. Director Ibsa Duri stated that the tournament finished its activities among four clubs to celebrate Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ Day. He emphasized that sports investment was vital for the city’s development and thanked local contributors for their support. Council representative Ahmed Abdo noted that the competition finished by strengthening multinational unity. He suggested that focusing on rural youth would bring even greater results in the future. Coordinator Tizazu Tesfaye finished the briefing by highlighting how the competition boosted the growth of cycling in Dire Dawa.
